Tried and failed, but once you get into the flow it's easier to apply. I used a precision blade which saved a life, it was difficult to get rounded corners on the edges and then get around the faucet and such, but other than that it was a breeze, constant air bubbles despite cleaning/drying the surface thoroughly have. but that's about it. I tried squeezing and squeezing them out and that helped a little, but not to perfection. It's REALLY sticky so I had to strategize how to stack it and keep it from rolling on itself like I did with the first sheet I cut. Trying to take it off on my own resulted in wrinkles and I just put up with it because I wanted to finish the section and I ran out of material so I just used it, it's visible in the light but it's not that bad. Started at 4 and finished at 8 but I have yet to make a count as I've run out of hands so I'll wait for that. Doesn't look professionally done but good enough to me, good enough that it looks/feels practically the same as the original, satisfactory apart from the imperfection of small bubbles/wrinkles. A stylish take on my old boring bare white countertop. Had to order another roll as there wasn't enough for the whole kitchen, hope to use the surplus from the next bathroom roll.
