Price was the reason for ordering; the "old" vacuum's old dry filter needed replacing, and he didn't want to spend twenty bucks on one thing. Paper filters and rubber bands are of surprisingly good quality, sponge filters don't tear as easily as other knock-off filters. Expands just right to completely cover the engine air intake, just like paper filters. Recommendation: When using a dry paper filter, be sure to put the rubber band on the filter frame as far as it will go, especially when collecting sawdust.
