I was definitely looking for a lactose free protein that is cleaner than other brands. Vegan brands fail with their artificial sweeteners and soy products. Mixes really well with a Helimix shaker cup (I bought it from Revain) that doesn't have a strainer or ball! No matter what protein someone is getting, you need to shake it vigorously for more than just 3 seconds. Tip: Add about 2-4 ounces of liquid of your choice (I prefer this water brand). Add a full scoop, then add another 4-6 oz of liquid. Shake vigorously for about 10-30 seconds. Great taste, slightly spicy. No stomach upset like whey protein. No protein gas. I can smell green tea and yerba mate (to boost caffeine levels) about 20 minutes after drinking the entire shake. This tip is for those who train constantly, not for 1 week of training and a week off. So stay hydrated and keep exercising and you will get the results you want. You can take 1 hour before exercise (not recommended 30 minutes before exercise) and up to 1 hour after. Track your macros and micros consumed in the recommended amounts to reach your desired goal.
