Smoke Free Coated Glass
We bought a gray vase which had stickers on the outside which left a lot of residue. Thinking it was just smoked glass we went to clean it but there was no slime left. The sooty coating was beginning to wear away, either because the slime had disappeared or simply from rubbing against it. Stopped before it became a problem. If it were indeed smoked glass and not coated, no cleaning would have discolored it. Otherwise a nice vase.
