I bought it for one purpose: to mix soup. I might use it for other things, but I really managed to mix a condensed chicken soup back into a regular soup. Do you know how "Sahne X" comes out of the chamber like a "drop"? I have this to whip back into regular soup. And it works. But there are a few surprises. 1) It's a lot louder than I expected and the noise level depends on how deep you put it in the liquid. I reconstituted the soup so I followed the directions. One can of mashed chicken soup, one can of water per 42 oz GladWare container. I scraped out the leftover soup can as there was PLENTY left. Then put in the blender and puree. Surprisingly, the device wanted to sink to the bottom as if pulling out the liquid. And it's pretty loud even when submerged in liquid. It took over 30 seconds to fully transform the lump into a relatively thick liquid that can be properly heated in the microwave. Cleaning is easy. Simply rinse, dry and store the tip. Generally suitable for small jobs. It works out.
