I use this nozzle for the speaker cabinet flared terminals. If you want to use it to expand ports and use a handheld router like me (PORTER-CABLE 893PK 2 -1/4HP) you need to make a spacer. The diameter of this cutter is too large for the normal acrylic guide of the router. The brace also lifts the blade off the wood, creating a smooth, flared transition rather than the "table edge" it was designed for.
