I added this hair dryer to my home tool kit. It works great and is of good quality. Here are some of the top uses of heat guns that I've personally tried: 1. Shrink wrap. You can also use a hair dryer for this, but this gun works better and faster.2. dry paint. If you need to speed up the drying of the paint, this will do.3. remove color. You can use this gun to avoid using toxic chemicals to remove paint from furniture or woodwork (there are articles and videos online that show you how). Soften the glue. This is ideal for removing windshield decals or old car decals. Simply heat the sticker with a heat gun and then peel off gently. Any adhesive residue can be non-toxicly removed by wiping with any oil, including regular old cooking oil, and then wiping with a cloth or paper towel. Safety Precautions: 1. Be careful not to block or cover the air inlet grilles, as this may cause the hair dryer to overheat and, in the worst case, cause a fire.2. Do not point the gun nozzle directly at anything. It can have the same dangerous effect as paragraph 1.3. Do not use the heat gun near flammable objects.4. Do not put down the weapon without turning it off.5. Do not store the gun until it has completely cooled.6. Do not touch the hot metal nozzle with skin (may cause burns) or clothing (may cause fire).7. Do not use this hair dryer to remove lead-based paint - it may give off hazardous fumes.8. Do not look directly into the nozzle when the gun is on - it can damage your eyes.9. Do not insert anything into the gun nozzle as this may result in gun overheating, fire and/or gun damage.
