First of all, I'm not a fan of dresses and skirts and I don't like wearing them either. However, I liked the outfit I saw with the plaid shirt and lace skirt. First I chose ivory and then black. I chose XL because others said it was too small. I'm 5ft 5in, 148lbs, natural waist 30in and hips 40in. The elastic waistband sits around my belly button which is about 32-34 inches (depending on bloat haha)! It fits and looks great! It doesn't pull in your tummy or flatten your butt like other pencil skirts. I get so many compliments on both skirts. In summer I pair it with Lucky Brand, a fitted printed tee and peep toe stiletto sandals. In winter with an Eddie Bauer flannel shirt (princess stitching) or an EB long sleeve t-shirt with a plaid scarf, leather vest, tights and boots. Wash skirts well, turn inside out and dry with dark wool detergent for black and normal detergent for ivory on a long spin cycle and dry on a long cycle cycle. This is definitely my skirt!
