This lamp exceeded all my expectations. While an LED may resemble an incandescent bulb, it cannot emit the warm glow of an incandescent bulb, and this bulb has an incandescent bulb. This bulb isn't very bright, but it shouldn't be bright. I also bought a dimmer. In doing so, it produces an amber glow, similar to vacuum tubes only found in vintage radios and TVs, and high-end audio amplifiers. You get warm comfort not available with LEDs. This lamp will feature prominently in my retro dining room. In short, she's becoming a truly precious member of my family.
