When my mum used it when I was younger I was amazed at how oily it felt. Now that I'm older I understand why she used it. I live in a dry climate and have dry skin so it removes my makeup but still leaves my skin hydrated but not oily and I've never had acne because of it. I started out just using it to remove waterproof mascara and then progressed to completely removing makeup from my face. It requires rubbing with a towel, which stretches your skin slightly for those who might be concerned about wrinkling, but my dry skin wins since without a lack of moisture it just has dinosaur wrinkles. Mom seemed to know better.
