This wire is absolutely the worst wire I have ever worked with. Let's start with how fragile the insulation is. I don't know if it's old or the material is just awful but it breaks and tears. Now let's talk about soldering with this wire. I don't care how much rosin you put on this wire, it won't stand up to soldering. I've tried all different temperatures and 2 different types of rosin (a 'hard' and a gel) and nothing can get this wire to pick up the solder. I have 2/3 of the box left and will throw it away. It's just a waste of time and money.
