Best to use 12 volts

They are very sensitive to voltage. It is best to use 12 volts. If you use 24 volts, any surge of electricity will blow it up. Here's the thing, if you use 12 volts it doesn't work well in cold weather. Put these contacts in the relay immediately as well. The contacts included in the kit will not withstand the amplifier without burning out. I used a long piece of outdoor coax cable and attached the antenna to a tall tree. He has a much better reception. It is made in China and has very small components. I wish it was built better. Ace Hardware stocks one of this quality. It says "Linear" but it should be "Chinese - Linear Excuse".
