Review on Express Controller Adapter Converter Bracket by Tim Burns

I needed two Sata 3 ports to add two 5TB drives to my desktop computer. I only have one SATA port left on my computer. I wanted to mirror disks. When I connected these 2 drives to the sata ports, it couldn't handle it. I had nothing but errors from the start (windows 10 disk management mirroring). I already have a 10TB mirror in my computer. I saved the day by moving my BlueRay/DVD/CD drive to this card. I then used the freed up internal SATA to create my own mirror. This is a low-end cost-effective sata expansion card. I could return it and get a supposedly better card (3-4 times more expensive). My solution works. I'm happy with it in the current configuration and have saved money. This is a good - sata budget solution - hence 3 stars. It probably would have worked for my 5TB drives if I hadn't tried mirroring them. Mirroring puts more stress on the SATA card, and this is where the card failed.
