D-Link got greedy and locked this camera in my-dlink for channels, hence no integration with your home NVR, Blue Iris, ZoneMinder or TinyCam , etc. Third-party viewers and capture software. D-Link products used to be nice and open with HTTP and RTSP channels. D-Link's move to lock down the software renders this camera unusable unless you intend to unfortunately only be limited to D-Link products with their cloud viewing software and cloud recording service. As for the equipment itself, the horizontal viewing angle is wide at 150 degrees. Night vision IR could be better as there are competitors with 60-90ft IR range, but the 20-30ft range seems to be on par with many budget and mid-range WiFi cameras. The headlight was also a nice feature. But without an RTSP channel, this thing needs to be returned.
