Very important! for home audio
I replaced a 17 year old Bose home theater with a cheap LG unit after the main amps died. That was enough, except for that nice deep bass that Bose wowed me with. I chose this active subwoofer but had to use the original subwoofer cable (20 gauge) due to the proprietary LG connectors. What a wonderful improvement! This subwoofer has enough power to watch TV and movies. Outstanding performance for the price.
