This comb uses standard dual blade razors that you can buy in stores or even better online. Requires two blades, edge to edge. Get ready to get him a new blade, the one that comes with the kit barely cuts his hair. The second picture shows a double razor model. I used the Shark blades myself, the ones that came with them were nameless and of course blunt. Be careful with one side of the comb and you're good to use. If I bought again I would find a better quality product. If I'm on a budget this will work.
