As described, as with the solid wood frame, the color of the wood is also a feast for the eyes. The edges are well finished, there are no sharp splinters. The entire heater is cool to the touch, including the metal backing, making it very safe. It has mini legs and the drawstring is easy to put on the back. Pretty warm for a small bedroom or living room apartment, appreciate the remote control option for convenience. Overall I would recommend this heater. While it claims not to dry out in the heat, I highly doubt it as my hair went from silky to dry straw within a month of use. Be sure to get a humidifier with this
