Once I figured out how to assemble the cot, everything came together easily and very fast. If you have joint pain, this might not be the product for you as it requires a little bit of exertion to get the rods in place. I've used this multiple times, and my dog sleeps on it with me. I think he likes it too cause he prefers it to his dog bed. The cot dis-assembles into a compact pouch when not used. It is lightweight and doesn't take up too much room, like my old, heavy, bulky fold-in-half cot.
