I have never had a problem with LED headers, I have used a variety of 2 pin and 4 pin connectors for various projects over the course of years, but it was rubbish. I bought these for Govee lights but the pin spacing doesn't match, the pins don't land on the copper pads for V+ and Gnd. I tried some other universal 10mm 3 pin strips but they didn't fit either. The contacts sit on the copper, but when you close the plastic connector they don't hold their connection securely. When you press the top of the closed port, the LEDs will illuminate, but will turn off when you release the pressure. Either the mold used for the plastic has worn out, causing the clamp not to press down on the pins hard enough, or the metal gauge is too thin. a small piece of single ply cardboard under the tape before you tape it in and that will work 50% of the time - otherwise just skip this product - this was one of the most frustrating things I've dealt with.
