Review on Whitmor Wood Natural Clothespins, Set πŸ‘• of 100 - Sturdy and Stylish Laundry Clips by Dawn Price

Good enough for crafting, but not heavy

When my son got a book about mini guns as a gift, I realized that the 'regular household items' he needs for these projects aren't as anymore are common. Clothespins, for example, haven't been in my laundry room for years. These wooden clothespins are good enough for his crafting purposes, but they're not good for their original purpose - hanging clothes to dry. These clothespins are made of very light wood. Compare my picture below to the manufacturer's picture on the product page and you can see the wood on the pins I received is not as smooth or as thick. The metal clamp that holds the two halves of wood together is not too tight; Also notice in the picture that I twisted the clothespin very slightly. These needles aren't as strong as you need to hang the thickest or heaviest garments---I was able to hang a light cotton blouse, but not a sweatshirt or pants that I've tried. So suitable for crafts or hobbies, but not for the actual work of hanging clothes.
