I have a pit/bulldog mix who is very strong. He already destroyed the stitching on another (different brand) martingale collar when he decided to chase after a rabbit. Because I live in a farming/ranching community, it's imperative that Zeus' collars and leads stand up to him, keeping him away from livestock. So far, this Dazzber collar has stood the test of time and kept him away from rabbits, cattle, horses -- and a neighbor's dog that he desperately wants to visit. The fabric is sturdy, but even more important, it's double-stitched *everywhere*, keeping Zeus firmly under my control.
