I ordered this resin for a layered world project, it should be somewhere like a tiny captured sphere to hold in your hand. This resin is perfect for that! As with any resin, preparation is the most important part; The preparation for this resin is very simple. Simply mix the two parts in a 1:1 ratio and pour! Super simple and easy for beginners. There was a slight smoky smell but nothing like the more serious resins I've used before; it definitely didn't smell like a cloud of toxic gas that would instantly alter my DNA, just from the smoke. The kit comes with a couple of sets of vinyl gloves, a couple of measuring cups and a couple of stir sticks which were very helpful. This would make it more beginner friendly as most of the required hardware is included in the box. My only gripe would be the blistering as this resin seems to be a little more prone to blistering than others I've used, but it's nothing a heat gun can't handle. The finished product turned out to be more transparent than glass, without bubbles and defects. Mix well and you won't have any problems! Overall I enjoyed having this resin on hand and I think it will serve me well in the future. This would be the perfect gift for the sophisticated person in your life and would be great for projects or artwork!
