Very small, thread the strap through the loop so I don't lose it and makes it easy too to install and remove. Formatted from FAT32 to NTSF. As a test, I first moved a 6.5GB file from my USB 3.0 computer (with 3.1 enabled in the BIOS) to Kingston Micro USB 3.1, which took 7-8 minutes. Then transfer the same file from the Kingston USB 3.1 stick plugged into the USB 3.1 port, it took about 6 seconds. I bought a 16GB Micro to see if it's really worth buying a bigger one. On my old version of Vista x64 it usually takes 20 to 30 minutes, to move a comparable file from a flash drive to a USB 2.0 computer. USB3. 0 more than halved this time, Kingston Digital Micro reduced that time to a few seconds due to the USB 3.1 Micro plugged into my USB 3.1 port. Long story short, in my case it appears to be a one-way benefit. The only benefit I see is moving files from a Kingston Digital 16GB DTMicro USB 3.1/3.0 plugged into my 3.1 port to a computer. Copying back to Kingston from 3.0 to 3.1 takes 7-8 minutes. USB 2.0 is even faster and still saves a lot of time when transferring large files like JPEG and RAW files from a USB stick camera to a computer. I'm so impressed that I'll probably buy a larger Kingston as a few hours of photos will fill that 16GB in a hurry. Eventually I'll get a USB 3.1 laptop and a USB 3.1 memory card reader and a PCI USB 3 card.
