I needed an extra cup holder because my phone holder uses one of the two in the car and I often have more than one drink in the car. Drinking cups are too small and many of the cups and bottles I put in them tip over. The white rubber pad is a joke - it sticks to anything you put in there. It would be better to weigh this part down as it is very light and moves too easily - even with a foam wedge keeping it taut between the seat and the console. I also wish there were removable rubber bushings for each section.
