The idea behind this product is amazing: power your flash drive (etc) with your TV. To be honest these products (firestick, roku etc.) should have been designed like this from the start! I found the cable to be a bit short to connect the top of my flash drive to the USB port (on the bottom of my TV). I had to stretch the cable a lot to make it work (but it works, that's why I gave it 4 stars - it does what it's supposed to do). However, I have doubts about the durability of the product as I had to stretch the cable. This is working fine for now, but adding an inch or two of string will make a world of difference!
