She uses it when she sleeps and at home. This wax protection is very easy to apply. Just dip in hot water, shape the palate and it will harden again. It's almost like a retainer. She can take it out to eat and put it back when she's done. There are 4 pieces in the set so I will use one until it falls apart. Very good product. Recommended for anyone looking for relief.
