this will work for a temporary fix

I bought this because I have a bad habit of sucking my teeth with my tongue. I used to have this professionally made mouthpiece (which no longer fits), but it cost me $250. I thought to try that. I was pleasantly surprised that there are 3 of these in the pack (good). I messed up the first one by leaving it in hot water a second or two longer and it melted beyond repair. The second time I was able to blind normally. The problem with this product is that it gets too soft in your mouth when you…

Liberation from the Palatinate Bar!

My son had a bar in his gums as a result of orthodontic treatment. His tongue was torn from it. I found them by searching and ordered them straight away. They are very easy to shape and then easy to cut. They helped my sons language a lot. He's gone through two of these in the last week, so I've just ordered another pack. Due to the fact that her tongue was pressed against the metal expander, it was painful for her to eat, drink and even speak. Her orthodontist suggested trying some wax on the expander, but the wax wouldn't stick. After searching the internet for help, I came across Tongue Guard. As soon as it came in the mail we tried it. She said she…

The strip cut her tongue and it was very painful to speak

My daughter just had a strip of braces fitted to her upper mouth. The pole cut her tongue, and it was very painful to speak, eat, and sleep. It was the only thing I could find that could act as a barrier between the pole and her tongue. She has been using it for several days and has already felt relief. Your tongue will begin to heal. She uses it when she sleeps and at home. This wax protection is very easy to apply. Just dip in hot water, shape the palate and it will harden again. It's almost…
