Perfect for campfire use! They pop out wide, and the double prong is great for holding hot dogs (although we squeezed the prongs together so they don't spread that far), or better yet, holding two marshmallows at once. :) We've found that the easiest way to get marshmallows out of them is to soak them overnight; washed off the next day. We've also found that people tend to "burn the marshmallows," which is a bad idea as it then makes it really difficult to clean the tines no matter how long you soak them. Each pen is a different color to make it easier for people to keep track of "their" pen.
