I was immediately disappointed when I took this tape off the roll. It felt papery and there was almost no stickiness. The comparison to my previous Nashua cassette was wonderful. If the Nashua band was 10, this lockport would be band 3. Haven't used it for serious applications yet. It may prove to be good for some situations. It can also happen that adhesion, even if it seems weak, actually works well in real applications. Another thing to keep in mind is that thinner tape is good if you want it to fit snugly to objects. My biggest issue with this tape is adhesion. If you use it for really temporary situations, this tape might be for you. But if you're looking for a stiff band, I don't think this is the band you're looking for.
