I am deeply disappointed in this purchase. I have wavy hair and unfortunately this flat iron didn't straighten even an inch of this hair. How I used this product: I turned it on, let it heat up for about 3 minutes and then continued using it on my dry, cut hair. Like I said, it didn't work as advertised. The placement of the power and temperature buttons also leaves something to be desired as I kept bumping into them during use. It was a hassle to keep checking to see if I had turned it off or lowered the temp too much. I think you get what you pay for. Now I have an item that I will not use in the future.
