I've only used this item twice as the knobs didn't work and the black paint on the heating part of the brush had chipped off one corner of the straight box. I got good results the two times I used it, but I kept burning my fingers on the brush and accidentally changing the temperature.

This is a good straightening comb but not the best I've used. The location of the control knobs on the handle is inconvenient because that's where you hold the brush. The brush is very easy to turn off during use. You should constantly check that the brush is still on or set to the correct temperature. I just wasn't a fan of this product. Didn't straighten my hair at all. I really felt it helped with my frizzy hair and if I wanted to straighten my hair I could do that. Both me and my sister tried it and they just didn't like it. However, we have similar hair types, naturally thick hair. Hers is thicker than mine and I have a little more damage from the recent bleaching. This can work on finer hair types.
