This is a good straightening comb but not the best I've used. The location of the control knobs on the handle is inconvenient because that's where you hold the brush. The brush is very easy to turn off during use. You should constantly check that the brush is still on or set to the correct temperature. It only goes up to 230 degrees which works well with my hair texture but I'm not sure it would work for someone with coarser curly hair. My hair is fine but naturally curly/wavy. This brush worked very well at the highest temperature on my hair. It straightened my hair quickly with just 2 swipes on each section of hair. The hair became smooth and without fluffiness. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the location of the control buttons.
