I love the design of this monitor. The edges are smooth and thin - unique as even the most expensive monitors have thick bottom bezels. This monitor really stands out and looks great on a desk. Also the 2 USB-C ports with 90W PD are really amazing. It offers the best 1-cable solution to power and connect your laptop. Other HP and LG 4K monitors I've tried sometimes experience lag and screen tearing/flickering or randomly don't recognize the USB-C input. Not this monitor. In that regard, it works perfectly. BUT that's where the good ends. Here are the bad ones.1. Terrible light leak. I'm that type of person when I read other reviews talking about "light leaks" I think "you picky, Dell monitors are the best in the business". Until I got THIS monitor. With this $550 monitor alongside my Acer VG280 4K and HP 28-inch 4K monitors ($250 and $380), I immediately noticed the light leak and couldn't see it. 2. Shadows on the edge of the screen. Additionally there is a thin shadow around ALL 4 EDGES. Similar to what they said about the iPad Pro's mini-LED screen, except it's more obvious on this Dell U2720Q.3. The screen's lower right bezel dangles right out of the box. Let's get back to Revain. Overall, I really liked the design and functionality of this monitor. It looks so clean and futuristic. Unfortunately, the quality control is lame.
