Rusted and Broken Chain: Avoid!
My analysis of this product showed that it`s not durable and can easily rust after a few uses on the water .Although it's coated with PVC, it still couldn't withstand the SALTY and corrosive environment. On the bright side, it's relatively cheap compared to other anchor chains in the market. However saving a few bucks is not worth risking your safety and investment in your boating gear..
- PVC coating protects against rust and corrosion
- May require additional weight to hold anchor securely in strong currents or winds
