I purchased this kit for a project that requires a variety of tips. I loaded the ink cartridge, flushed the pen (like you do with ALL fountain pens) and let it sit for about 4 hours to allow the ink to drain into the pen reservoir. When I put pen to paper. NOTHING! I replaced the ink cartridge after flushing the entire pen, waited a few more hours and...NOTHING! I tried filling my bladder with Waterman liquid ink but it wouldn't suck it up. Let me summarize that this kit is just cheap crap from China. Don't waste your money and time like me.
