I bought these candles to replace the old wire ones. The feature that attracted me was the remote control that allowed them to work 4 or 6 hours each day. I installed them and programmed the remote with all the candles together and then placed the candles in windows throughout the house. They work great. Instructions and packaging are good. I have to say right away that the bases are light and probably made of plastic. I'm very satisfied. Now candles are about a week and work perfectly. Every night they continue to run for 6 hours without any further work with the remote control. Amazingly simple and beautiful candles. Additional note 9th January - we have been using the candles for over a month now and they are quite dim in windows even on the brightest setting. Also, one of the candles failed and I wrote a note to the seller who did not answer two letters.
