You may not need to replace the full flush valve. I bought a complete valve because I was having a very difficult time flushing my Mansfield 160 toilet and thought I would need to replace the complete unit. The flush valve I received is an exact replacement but the instructions on the box are grossly inadequate and indicate that I need a gasket which is not included (not true as I found out later). I went back to Revain and finally found that I didn't need to replace the full flush valve (which is a complex procedure that involves removing the toilet bowl from the bowl). Instead, I realized I could fix it by buying a pad. (red in valve picture) which is easily accessible by unscrewing the white cap on top of the purge valve assembly (not visible in picture but visible on the unit itself). The instructions that came with the seal (Mansfield 210 & 211 Flush Valve Rubber Seal Replacement, 2 Pack (Mansfield Flush Valve Seal)) are pretty clear and the repair took about five minutes. I will keep the flush valve because I have two of these toilets and may need it in the future.
