🚽 Mansfield 210 & 211 Flush Valve Rubber Seal Gasket Replacement - 2 Pack (Mansfield Flush Valve Seal) Review

Install this in my toilet but it's not wide enough, the toilet leaked through the valve because it doesn't seal, had to pull it out again and put the original back in and register it until i can get another one from lowe's installed by lowe's the toilet no longer works the seal works fine.

Well they changed the product images anyway but they are fake seals and it didn't solve the leak problem. Based on previous product photos, this was Mansfield's original print. My uploaded image shows the "QUALIHOME" sticker over the "Aqua Plumb" logo. It appears to be a bait and switch tactic, so be careful what you buy.

My old flush valve seal was deformed and regularly lost during flushing. This 2 pack arrived quickly and comes with instructions. Installs on a Mansfield 160 toilet in about 5 minutes. The trick is to get the gasket in the top groove and then rotate it while it's in the groove so it sits flat. Now the valve won't let water into the bowl, and I have an extra piece in case I need it.

This is NOT a suitable gasket 210/211 replacement for Mansfield #160 toilet. This seal has a radius of about 6mm less (about 1/4 inch), which doesn't seem like much, but it doesn't seal the purge valve. The toilet does not fill properly and constantly drips, gurgles and hisses. I bought an original Mansfield 210/211 gasket from a plumbing company, installed it and now the toilet works great. Buyer Warning!

Working. Somehow I'm going with three stars as I'm not sure if my problem is related to anything other than the shim itself. Flushing the toilet was a real agony, the old gasket was worn out and the valve was sticking around it. I bought a replacement and it seems to work. until I heard the toilet run every 30 minutes. After researching, I found that the smallest drops of water slowly seep into the bowl. This never floods the toilet, but the tank does need to be refilled from time to time.

You may not need to replace the full flush valve. I bought a complete valve because I was having a very difficult time flushing my Mansfield 160 toilet and thought I would need to replace the complete unit. The flush valve I received is an exact replacement but the instructions on the box are grossly inadequate and indicate that I need a gasket which is not included (not true as I found out later).
