Overall the piece is nice except the top is either NOT stainless steel (my guess would be that its some kind of aluminum brushed to look like stainless steel) or the worst quality stainless steel I've ever seen, scratching much, much too easily for stainless steel- after using for only a week, there are TONS of scratches on the top, some made even by the plastic scrubbing pad on my sponge- not exactly a highly abrasive material.

Still does what it's intended to do, but this piece is made from LOW quality materials and the claim of stainless steel may even be fraudulent. See picture (scratches remain even after vigorous polishing with stainless steel cleaner)
