I have a fish only saltwater aquarium that has recently had tons of algae blooming on the walls, floor and aquarium decoration. I don't know how that happens, but I'm losing the fight. I bought this because the commercially available brush or fake aluminum blades (maybe not even aluminum, not sure, maybe it's just tin) are useless against all this algae. This wand works like a pro. At first I found the blades a bit flimsy, but they worked great. At least I can wash the walls. Also, I have an explosion of bristleworms that I've learned to live with because they show up even if you don't add them, but there are too many of them stuck in that grass. Those caught in the algae will also be removed, so this is a good start. Thank you for this wonderful tool!
