Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

Do not count on being able to resharpen dead knives without first taking the necessary precautions (such as purchasing pricey diamond rods or resharpening the corner in another manner on your own or in a workshop). However, if you are certain that the angle is between 30 and 40 degrees, there won't be any issues with sharpening, and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the outcome given the amount of work invested. Personally, I quickly understood that I still required a diamond bar and purchased one to save money. I don't regret it because now I have access to little chips and regrinding from a different angle. Although the price is prohibitive, it rapidly pays for itself when you consider that sharpening a knife in a workshop costs 500 per knife (I managed to sharpen five knives at home and a few more with friends and family in a month).

Pros
  • - Simple technique for sharpening - Multifunctionality -The outcome is fantastic; shaving
Cons
  • Diamond rods are necessary for regrinding because it would be impossible to do so without them.
