Everything worked perfectly straight away, the water pump is still OK. After 7 months of regular operation, the car died. It was evident that the belt had lost all tension and was missing a few teeth. Upon disassembling, I found that the spring was tensioning right through the tensioner. The spring was then damaged. The product came with a 12 month warranty which the company honored and I got my money back (+1 star). Replacing a timing belt is a big job that requires many hours of work, towing fees and headaches to get my money back. The head could be easily damaged by this faulty product. I bought an AC Delco part as a replacement. It is reinforced with a bushing in the circled area. Buy cheap, save now, pay later.
