Great DVD/Blu-ray storage solution with some limitations

There are several cheaper options with a similar design - this is a review of Besti's DVD/Blu-ray storage bags. I chose this brand mainly based on the positive reviews they got for the build quality - after all, what good is a cheaper storage solution if it can't get the job done, or worse, puts you in the wrong place? Please note that I am reviewing these from a home use perspective, not a commercial use situation. Priced at around $8 each (I went with the white bags) these Besti bags seem to be decently constructed - the zipper is small but the clasps move smoothly and there are 2 pulls on the zipper. Stitching is good and seems to hold up to reasonable regular use. Considering the points above, these cases are one of the best solutions for convenient organization and storage of large collections of DVD/Blu-Ray discs - making them portable. Pros: One case comfortably holds about 36 single-style DVD cases (some people stuff more on the sides, but why push them?) It's a reasonable compromise between case capacity and portability. The panels make it easy to browse the tracks stored within, allowing you to sort your disc collection however you like and find the track you want quickly. You can mix DVD and Blu-ray boxes together. This may not matter much to some people, but other storage solutions are often designed to hold media of the same size. With these bags you can store multiple DVDs and Blu-rays together. Slight odor (I was wondering how they could smell "plastic" and they weren't bad for my nose at all. Cons: - They're rectangular BAGS. As others have said, these bags don't have a hard bottom, so if they're where less than full, they make a "hammock" on you. People have found solutions like cutting tough inserts out of cardboard or very thin wood, or stuffing rolled towels into empty spaces. If you have one have a large collection and want it to stay that way, you have to do the math.)

  • A dream come true
Cons
