I make reproductions of 18th century clothing. I bought it to use as a mount for a new set of springs. This tape worked very well for this process. I was able to easily shape the corners and adjust the binding width after pinning one side. The hardest thing about making props is tying the deep ends of the "fingers”. This tape has worked better than anything I've used in the past. I managed to make nice round curves on both sides. I usually hate that part, but the tape made it pretty easy. I don't know about laundry facilities. Leftovers are never washed. They are made with sugar cane "boning". We take great care to keep them clean, often changing linens underneath and washing them. I bought a large roll and can't imagine ever using it all. In general I am very satisfied.
