Review on 🎧 Audioquest Evergreen Audio Cable 1m (3ft 4in) 3.5mm to RCA Interconnect by Gillian Ahn

I was an amateur music lover for a while and always thought everything about "cable quality" was basically snake oil. However, I needed a cable to connect Schiit Mani to PS Audio Sprout. I wasn't entirely happy with the Sprout's phono stage, so I decided to try a different preamp. I had an old cheap RCA cable with a headphone jack and even with that the shiit sounded better. However, the cable used was old and worn out and I wanted to replace it. I went ahead and spent some money to get this Audioquest cable. The difference made me question my cable skepticism. The sound opened up, the bass became less cloudy, the mids became clearer and more pronounced, and even the picture sounded better. I can't explain it very well, but the best analogy is that it's the audio version of that Claritin ad where they slide the screen back and everything gets brighter and less blurry. These things are great and now I'm wondering if they make the sound even better with other cable upgrades. If you have a system that requires this cable, spend a few bucks more and get it. I am really impressed.
