Review on G Technology G DRIVE USB C External 0G05666 by Mike Campbell

My husband is a super engineer! He has gigs and gigs from external hard drives all over the house. He has tried almost every external hard drive. Unfortunately, some of the brands he used broke out of nowhere and he had to try to move the internal files to another hard drive without corrupting the data. It's always a big problem for him because he makes every effort to research the make and model type of hard drive and he always spends a lot of money to make sure he gets a quality hard drive. He then spends hours transferring data from his device to the hard drive, only for the hard drive to suddenly stop working and he can no longer access his gigabytes of data that he transferred to the drives. And he pays very close attention to the condition in which he preserves and keeps his records. I can't even TOUCH them because they have to be in a certain position in a certain part of the room where the temperature is just right etc. This is the third G-Drive I've bought for my husband because it is like that the only one that seems big enough and reliable enough to him. The first one we bought was from Best Buy and had less storage space as they wanted to try it first before putting a few gigabytes of data on it. It's been years since he bought the first one and about 2 years since he got the second one and he's never had a problem with either. He tells me that the transfer rate is very fast and extremely durable. He considered trying other brands this time in case he could find a better hard drive, but he just couldn't bring himself to risk losing all his data again. I am not sure if he will ever switch to another brand again. He said he plans to stock up on them now if the brand/company ever goes out of business or discontinues this model, as has been the case with trusted brands in the past. Definitely recommend this hard drive to anyone looking for reliable external storage!
