My soon to be 7 year old has been wearing glasses for 6 years but we are new to the fitting. We patch 2 hours a day. The design is cute, which makes her want to fix it when she doesn't really feel like it. The quality is comparable to what we got from the ophthalmologist. When she takes them off, she doesn't complain that they hurt, and when she takes them off, there's no redness! Her only complaint is that there is too much tissue where she lies on her nose. Because of this, her glasses slip off. She had the same complaint with another brand. Cut off a little with scissors each time. Losing a star is not a problem as all baby faces have a different shape.
