This thermostat can't keep the heater tape I'm using for my snake shelf above 82 degrees Fahrenheit, it's set at 92 high and 88 low and it didn't work I'm getting it's somewhere around those temps no matter how much i play with it i have another rack that uses a vivarium ve-100 electronic thermostat and it works great keeping it at 89-90 degrees Fahrenheit it was a bit pricey , but obviously there is a reason, I would choose this one or try another thermostat if you are using it to regulate heater tapes or reptile pads. This thermostat also came with a manual which had a lot of grammatical errors, felt like I was reading broken English and didn't explain how to use the thermostat without the app asking you to download it. After playing around with this for a while I realized that if you press and hold the settings button on the thermostat for 5 seconds you can enter the low and high temperature setting by just scrolling through while holding that button. I wish I could get my money back because it just doesn't work.
