This is a cheap shaving set. It's decent at best, and the brush is the best item in the set. Can't say the brush is great, but it's soft and does what it's supposed to. The stand is made of very light plastic and while it holds brushes and razors perfectly, there is some weight to add. The bowl is too small. Can you get decent foam with this? Yes, but it's very small (like most shaving bowls on Revain). I recommend a much better bowl. They can be bought for $16 or so. Get one that's wider (about 4.5 inches in diameter) and has grooves on the bottom for easier lathering. This set was my starter set and it served that purpose. Enjoy!
