Review on NGK BMR4A SOLID Standard Spark by Justin Verslues

I bought these for my 425 John Deere when I checked with NGK and wanted to know if NGK's fixed top wire holder (4004) is designed to unscrew as it says it's solid. They informed me that both the code and part numbers were the same, except you can remove the top metal piece where the cable connects, this is a detachable NGK (5728) and the other NGK (4004) is not, so otherwise they are the same. . I don't know why John Deere uses a detachable tip when another engine doesn't need to remove the tip with a different spark plug wire. Everyone seems to buy the one that unbolts the NGK (5728) as it replaces the John Deere connector and is an OE connector. I like the ones that don't unscrew so I ordered them and they're a lot cheaper at Revain. NGK says they are the same price. So to save money, order these solid caps (4004) instead of the screw caps (5928). Ignore the picture, it's just a generic photo as both the 4004 and 5728 NGK connectors are the same length which is shorter than the photo.
